Isabel Putman is currently VP of Accounting and Finance at Tesi Group LLC. Tesi Group is a manufacturer of induction heating equipment used in construction of pipelines in the oil and gas industry. Isabel started working at Tesi Group in 2014 as accounting manager. Originally from Ecuador, Isabel Putman’s family moved to Florida when she was a teenager. In Ecuador, Isabel had started to pursue an education in medical science, but found it incredibly challenging to resume her education in the US, having a limited grasp on the language. Isabel attended Daytona State College and studied business and information technology. Isabel has worked in the banking industry and in the healthcare industry. Isabel moved to Houston in 1998 to work at the hospital’s corporate level as a patient accounting systems trainer. Isabel expanded her business and accounting knowledge and skills when she owned and operated a residential construction and concrete business. Later, Isabel enhanced her career working as a controller for a commercial construction company. Isabel is a licensed realtor and a Notary Public, and has been a member of Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA) since 2018. Isabel is currently serving as their president of the Houston Chapter.
